tournaments and demonstration matches that showcase many of the fabulous sports
from the land down under. There sports are now making huge
in-roads into the American sporting landscape:
Australian Football:
First played in 1858 the game is now our national football
code.
Cricket: Played in
Australia since the land was first settled - Australia's summer time
passion.
Rugby: Australia's
other official "Football Code" - played
extensively in Queensland and New South Wales.

Australian Festival Cup Details:
The Australian Festival Cup was held at Centennial Park on
Saturday September 16,
2006 & Sunday September 17, 2006. The Australian Festival Cup will
consist of 4 Australian Football Clubs, 4 senior cricket
clubs and 4 Girls High School Rugby clubs all competing for the
coveted "Australian Festival Cup". Winners of this years
cup were the Nashville Kangaroos (Australian Football), Nashville
Cricket Club (Cricket), and Maryville Girls Rugby Club..
